Telekom Austria AG is the largest telecommunications company in Austria. The business is divided into landline and wireless segments, the wireless segment being represented by the mobilkom austria group. The landline segment covers voice telephony and the data and IT solutions, Internet access, added-value services and wholesale business sectors. In addition to its activities in Austria, the landline segment also has a presence in the Czech Republic, as Internet service provider Czech On Line.
The FOCUS project was launched because Telekom’s business solutions processes – a specialist unit within the company – did not benefit from adequate, timely and professional IT support. Thanks to this project, ordering, fulfilment and billing of customer orders can now be guaranteed by the business solutions unit.

- Creation of a web interface (based on SAP Internet Sales Application ISA 5.0) for customer order entry and for status monitoring
- Creation of a fulfilment monitor based on SAP ISA 5.0 (manual interface for status and deadline feedback)
- Materials configuration via IPC 5.9 in the web interface
